Our client is a large successful company that is GROWING

Due to the growth of the business, there is an immediate need to identify and attract a top notch Director Supply Chain : Strategic Initiatives to their team.

The Director, Supply Chain : Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for working with the business units to define, plan, and successfully execute initiatives in support of the corporate strategy. The Director, Supply Chain : Strategic Initiatives will be a high energy candidate who demonstrates an ability to quickly analyze and define solutions both inside and outside of their core functional discipline and then work across the organization at all levels. This position will partner with the M and A team to work with business and functional (HR, Supply Chain, BT, etc) leadership to develop comprehensive acquisition integration plans.

Provide leadership and oversight to ensure that integration efforts are coordinated and executed.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in support of own and other team member's initiatives.
Analyze existing business processes (both in and outside area of functional expertise), recommend improvements, and implement improvements in order that the changes are adopted and sustained.
Provide expertise and capacity to rapidly assess and address emerging business issues as they arise.
Work with Executive Leadership and the business units to identify and define corporate initiatives.
Lead the efforts to plan, manage and successfully execute initiatives including providing day:to:day leadership and direction to resources working on the initiative.


Bachelors required, MBA or Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 12 years of total working experience.
Broad supply chain working experience (8+ years) including in:depth knowledge and hands on experience in network optimization, demand and supply planning, supply chain operational methods and procedures, inventory management, transportation, etc.
Strong project management skills.
Track record of successfully identifying and implementing process changes.
Consumer products experience
Experience with M and A integration
Broad understanding of business functions and processes (outside of their core area) including planning, order management, purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, and finance
Strong analytical, problem:solving, negotiation and organizational skills
Broad knowledge of business and business functions.
Deep knowledge of business processes in Supply Chain.
Ability to quickly gather and analyze data, present it to senior management in a compelling way, and make recommendations to improve the business
Ability to manage projects from planning to execution.
